SCAM ALERT!

KQA advises of a data breach resulting in unauthorized access to communications with clients particularly between the period 27 February 2025 and 24 March 2025. The accessed data relates to all emails sent to info@kq.co.sz (contact information of candidates applying for placement), certain client invoices and debtors list. We will contact affected clients directly.
Upon the discovery, KQA moved to secure its systems and closed all unauthorized access. An investigation was initiated to identify the nature of the breach, when it occurred and what might have been leaked. We have enhanced the security of our mail systems including increased monitoring activities in order to prevent future re-occurrence.
KQA understands that the leaked information have been used to perpetrate fraudulent activities such as sending fraudulent invoices together with a notice of change in banking details.
KQA advises all clients that our banking details have not changed, any request/ notice of a change in banking details should be treated as a SCAM and forwarded to the Data Protection Officer, dpo@kq.co.sz
KQA further advises potential candidates to be alert of potential job scams. KQA will never request payment for job placement as part of the recruitment services.
KQA has filed a data breach notification with the Eswatini Data Protection Authority (EDPA), initiated enquiries with the Police and notified the bank to assist in identifying the individuals involved with the view of bringing criminal charges against all those involved in terms of the Computer Crime and Cybercrime Act, 2022.
